The Embodied Return
A12-week guided journey back to your body, yourself, and a fuller experience of being alive.
A small, intimate online space for exploring embodiment, connection and what it means to feel more at home in yourself, without turning yourself into another project to fix.
12 weeks · 6 people · Online · Begins 28th September 2026
A different kind of 3-month journey
This isn't a course where I'll give you another set of tools to master.
It's not about learning how to regulate your nervous system perfectly.
And it's not about becoming a better version of yourself.
It's a space to slow down, become more curious about your experience and develop a deeper relationship with your body and yourself.
Over 12 weeks, you'll be supported through a combination of small-group embodied practice, individual 1:1 sessions, optional journaling and an intimate community space.
The group gives you connection and shared experience.
The 1:1 gives us space to slow down and explore you.
The journaling gives you somewhere to pause, reflect and notice what's unfolding between sessions.
And the community gives you a gentle thread of connection throughout the journey.
Maybe you're tired of constantly working on yourself.
You've learned about your nervous system.
You've learned about your patterns.
You've learned how to regulate, process, understand and manage yourself.
And maybe some of it has genuinely helped.
But perhaps there's another part of you wondering...
What if I don't need to understand myself any more?
What if I want to actually feel myself?
To feel more connected to my body.
More present in my life.
More able to experience pleasure, joy, uncertainty, connection and all of the messy reality of being human.
Not perfectly.
Not all the time.
But more often.
This is what The Embodied Return is about.
-
The journey moves between group and 1:1 sessions, giving you both the experience of being held within a small group and the space to explore your own experience more deeply.
Every other week — Group Practices
A small online group of just 6 people, exploring embodied movement, somatic practice, breath and Yin.
A space to practise, notice, experience and be with what is actually here.
Every other week — 1:1 session
A private session with me where we can explore what's happening for you personally.
Your experiences, your patterns, your relationship with your body, what you're noticing and what you want to explore more deeply.
Between sessions — Optional journaling
Each week, I'll offer a gentle journaling prompt connected to what we're exploring.
These aren't homework.
You don't need to complete them, share them or keep up with them perfectly.
They're simply an invitation to pause and turn your attention towards yourself.
A place to notice what you're experiencing, what you're learning and what might be shifting underneath the surface.
Throughout the journey — Community Discord
You'll also have access to a private Discord community for the duration of the journey.
This gives us a space to stay connected between sessions, share reflections and experiences, and feel part of the small group outside of our live calls.
I'll be present in the community and will monitor it throughout the journey, so you aren't simply being given access to a group and left to navigate it alone.
It isn't a space for individual coaching or for you to feel like you need to constantly participate.
You can share as much or as little as feels right for you.
It's simply another thread of connection running through the three months.

I don't want to give you a rigid curriculum.
Because I think that would actually contradict the heart of this work.
Instead, we'll follow the people who are actually in the room and what is present for you.
Coming into relationship with your body
Learning to notice rather than immediately analyse, change or fix.
Embodiment
Moving from knowing things intellectually to actually experiencing yourself.
Safety and protection
Understanding the ways we protect ourselves without turning those responses into another identity.
Connection
Exploring your relationship with yourself, other people and the world around you.
Aliveness
Making space for pleasure, curiosity, play, joy, movement, nature, creativity and the things that make life feel like life.
Change
Learning to meet the uncertainty and messiness of being human without needing to have everything figured out.
There isn't a perfect pathway through this.
What we explore will be shaped by the people who are actually in the room.
-
You feel disconnected from yourself or your body.
You spend a lot of time thinking about yourself rather than actually experiencing yourself.
You've done lots of personal development but still feel like something is missing.
You're tired of constantly trying to fix, improve or regulate yourself.
You want to feel more present, connected and alive.
You want support navigating change or a new chapter in your life.
You're curious about embodiment but don't know where to begin.
You want a small, personal space where you don't have to perform or have it all figured out.
You want to explore yourself with curiosity rather than constantly trying to change yourself.
It might not be for you if...
You're looking for:
A quick fix.
A rigid programme to follow.
Someone to tell you exactly what your nervous system is doing.
A set of rules you need to follow perfectly.
Another thing you need to keep up with or complete.
A replacement for medical or psychological care.
-
I don't believe your body is something you need to master.
I don't believe there is one correct way to be regulated, embodied or human.
And I don't believe the answer is always another tool, technique or thing to work on.
My approach is curious, gentle and grounded in the body, whilst leaving plenty of room for the reality that we're all different.
I'll bring my experience, knowledge and guidance.
But I'm not here to tell you who you are or what your body "should" be doing.
We're going to get curious about your experience.
I'm Danielle
I'm a Breath & Somatic Practitioner, and my own relationship with my body has changed dramatically over the years.
I've spent a long time learning about breath, the nervous system, somatics and embodiment, but I've also learned that knowing more isn't always what we need. Some of the biggest shifts in my own life have come through learning to actually inhabit my experience.
To listen.
To feel.
To let things be messy.
To stop treating myself as a problem that needed solving.
And that's what I want this space to explore.
Imagine spending three months...
...with nowhere you need to perform.
A space where you don't have to arrive having figured everything out.
Where you can move slowly.
Where you can be curious.
Where you can learn to notice what's happening without immediately needing to change it.
Where you have the intimacy of a very small group, alongside private space that's completely yours.
Where you have somewhere to reflect between sessions if you want to.
Where connection continues beyond the live calls.
Where you don't have to do everything perfectly to belong.
Where the goal isn't to become a perfectly regulated human.
It's to become more connected to the human you already are.

This isn't designed to be a big online programme where hundreds of people move through the same material together.
I want to know the people I'm working with.
I want there to be space for you within the group.
And I want the 1:1 sessions to be a meaningful part of the journey, rather than an add-on.

I'll read through your answers personally and get back to you to arrange a short conversation if it feels like we could be a good fit.
FAQs
-
Yes, this isn’t a space where you need to get anything “right.”
At the beginning of each class, I’ll gently introduce a few shapes we’ll explore (never more than five), and I’ll guide you throughout. But if your body wants to move in a different way, that’s completely welcome too.
This is about listening to yourself, not following perfectly.
-
No. You don't need any previous experience.
Everything will be guided and you'll always be encouraged to work within your own experience and capacity.
-
That's completely okay.
You don't need to be confident, experienced or comfortable sharing yourself with a group.
The group is intentionally very small, and you'll also have the 1:1 sessions where you have space to work privately with me.
-
All group calls are recorded so you can watch back in your own time.
-
If you can’t make a planned 1:1 we will find another time (preferable that same week) to reschedule.
-
Each week I'll offer an optional prompt connected to what we're exploring.
They're there to support reflection and curiosity between sessions.
You don't have to complete them, and you don't have to share what you write.
-
No.
The Discord is there as an additional space for connection throughout the journey.
You can participate as much or as little as feels right for you.
-
The community is a space to stay connected, share reflections and experiences, and continue the conversation between sessions.
I'll monitor the community throughout the journey.
It isn't a space for individual coaching, and you won't be expected to be constantly active or available.
-
No.
The Embodied Return is a coaching and somatic practice journey. It isn't therapy, counselling or medical treatment.
Our sessions are a space to explore your relationship with your body, your experiences and your life through embodied movement, breath, somatic practices, reflection and conversation.
I won't diagnose or treat mental or physical health conditions, and I won't tell you what you or your nervous system "should" be doing.
If you're currently receiving support from a healthcare professional, The Embodied Return can sit alongside that support, but it isn't intended to replace it.
-
The Embodied Return isn't designed to treat or manage a mental or physical health condition.
You don't need to be perfectly well or have everything figured out to join. Life is messy, and this journey is designed with that reality in mind.
However, if you're currently experiencing significant or acute mental or physical health difficulties, or you're unsure whether this kind of work is appropriate for you, please speak with your GP or another appropriate healthcare professional before applying.
If you're already receiving professional support, you're welcome to discuss The Embodied Return with them and consider whether it feels like an appropriate addition to your existing care.
If at any point during the journey I feel that something falls outside of my scope, I'll be honest with you and may recommend seeking additional or alternative professional support.
-
Yes.
Because The Embodied Return is a 12-week commitment, I want to make the investment feel as accessible as possible while still reflecting the depth and level of support included.
You can either pay the full amount upfront or choose to pay in 3 monthly instalments of £250.
Please note that choosing an instalment plan is still a commitment to the full 12-week journey.
Maybe you don't need another thing to fix.
Maybe what you need is somewhere to slow down enough to hear yourself again.
To come back into relationship with your body.
To explore what it means to feel more connected.
To have space to reflect, experience and be curious.
To experience the messy, imperfect, beautiful reality of being human.
Six people.
Twelve weeks.
One small space to explore what becomes possible when you stop treating yourself as a problem to solve.
